My background in match fishing is based primarily around silver fish on rivers and canals , as I believe these venues breed a proper knowledge of watercraft something which is lost on a lot of commercials nowadays
However I have spent a lot of time fishing commercials and won the makins gold and silver winter leagues individually in the same season both when there were 200 on each match
More recently over the last 5 years I have concentrated on rivers and fishing in Ireland ! Catching 200 lb 6 oz of all roach on a 5 hour march one year
I spent the first years of match fishing with Milton Keynes match group before joining Shakespeare in 2001 the in 2010 joining dorking
I believe I'm a consultant as I'm very diverse and can turn my hand to most parts of the sport ! But I particularly love feeder fishing in Ireland for roach nothing beats the tip flying round on braid !
Motivation is easy for me as I always want to win and love the buzz of a big match
I love the silver crush from Sonu as it's perfect for Ireland as it has loads of particles that roach and hybrids love ,
I also use a lot of the natural hemp as it saves me cooking any !
products ! Dutch feeder rest invaluable in my opinion ,
And all monster luggage perfect for transporting my kit safely to the peg ,
