For more great tips and content visit http://www.prestoninnovations.com I want to talk to you today about distance and accuracy when feeder fishing. To make sure that you're at the right distance, and you're fishing where the fish are feeding, I find that using measuring sticks are a very important part of especially my feeder fishing, and, more importantly, team feeder fishing. When we're looking for features and depths and shelves then you'llfishing in the minute, it's got a big slope, and that's very important. We can sort of synchronize where we cast in and clip off at set measurements. And when you're talking to people outside of the match, you want to know exactly the meterage where you are, so we use these sticks. Mine are set to two and a half meters apart. You drop your feeder in at one end, you wind around x amount of times, clip it at where your feeder is so you know where the fish are, and then you can relay that information back to the team or more important for yourself, you know exactly where you fished. If you revisit the next day or you're building up a scenario for that venue, you know exactly where you want to be. You're brilliant, you're accurate. And back home, another great feature, if you're chucking it to a far bank, you don't have to keep clipping out, changing your clip, you can just go back over the bank, set into your sticks, and you can drop that feeder right in place where you need it to be.
